The best ways to come to our concerts

The rehearsals, recordings and most of the concerts take place at our home base, Flagey. In addition, we have close links with BOZAR in Brussels, the Concertgebouw Brugge, De Bijloke in Ghent and the main cultural centres in Flanders.

Getting to Flagey

by public transport

Brussels Philharmonic – the Flemish Radio Orchestra is keen to contribute towards a green urban policy and sustainable development. So we advise our visitors to come to our concerts by public transport and make sure that you always come out of the concert hall in time to catch the last bus and the last tram!

>> Central station – Flagey
Bus 38, 60 & 71 go from Central station to Flagey and back every ten minutes.
Trams 81 & 83 go past Flagey every 15 minutes.

>> South station – Flagey
Metro line 2 of 6 (direction Simonis) to Naamse Poort/Porte de Namur, change to bus 71.
Direct connection: trams 81 & 83 direction Montgomery (12 stops, approx. 30 minutes).

>> North station – Flagey
Take tram 4  to South station and follow the directions ‘South station – Flagey’

by car

There is a car park under Flageyplein/place Flagey. Opening hours: 24/24 and 7/7.

Beware! Cars parked in Heilig-Kruisplein/place Sainte-Croix are towed away.

by bicycle

You can come to concerts by bicycle if you wish. There are enough bicycle stands in Flageyplein/place Flagey and Heilig-Kruisplein/place Sainte-Croix. If you don’t have your own bicycle, you can hire one and leave it at the Villo! station in Flageyplein/place Flagey. Visit the Villo! website for more information.

Come along in good time. There is plenty to do in Flagey. We organise two introductions for each evening concert, both at 7.30 pm.

There are lots of delightful bars and cafes around Flageyplein/place Flagey where you can enjoy a drink and a chat after a concert. Check out the vino mundo bar in the Flagey Foyers, Café Belga, and many more!

Flageyplein/place Flagey is located in a lively district with a selection of good restaurants. Plan a pleasant dinner before or after a concert!
