Film Fest Gent will present the concert PRESS PLAY: Music in Games on 19 October 2023, which will bring music composed for video games to life.

Game music has become a genre in its own right anno 2023, playing a crucial role in immersing players in virtual worlds and accompanying the story.
From 2023, Film Fest Gent will present a new music award, the WSA Game Music Award, for the best original score for a video game and/or other interactive media. In addition, Film Fest Gent's annual music concert this year will also focus on music in games.
