​​Composer Piet J. Swerts: "Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava! (Glory to Ukraine and its Heroes) is a re-translation and new orchestration of the official march of the Ukrainian army combined with the national anthem. It is an artistic musical stand against senseless war violence as we are now experiencing in Ukraine."

Piet J. Swerts made the score and orchestral parts available free of charge to all orchestras in the world so that, to offer musical resistance as one united voice.

Brussels Philharmonic performs the world premiere of Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava! on 17 and 19 March in Ghent and Brussels.
