Javier Perianes

“His demeanour and technique… radiate calm, yet the precision and speed of his fingerwork can be quite shattering. Seldom, if ever, have I encountered such a combination of evident modesty and utter brilliance” (Sunday Times)

Even during his studies, Spanish pianist Javier Perianes made himself heard by graduating from the Seville Conservatory of Music as the ultimate student of his year. He received many awards, including the National Music Prize of Spain and in 2019 he was named 'Musician of the Year' by the International Classical Music Awards.

He is a regular guest with several renowned orchestras including the Vienna Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He also performs worldwide as a soloist in numerous concerts and recitals, and regularly tours with regular music partners such as viola player Tabea Zimmermann and the Quiroga Quartet.

Mozart & Haydn mean returning to the source of the symphony; Not to its absolute origins, but to the first flagbearers of the genre. Prolific composers who, with their dedication and innovative ideas, turned the symphony into one of the most important genres in classical music.
