Su Yeon Kim has earned worldwide acclaim by winning the First Prize of the Concours musical international de Montréal in 2021. Her achievements also include the first prize at the J. N. Hummel International Piano Competition and at the Compositores de Espana Piano Competition, the second prize at the Mozart International Competition Salzburg 2020, among many others.

Born in Seoul in 1994, Su Yeon Kim received her first lessons at age 5. She performs frequently in Korea and abroad, at many of the world’s major venues and with renowned orchestras. With her interest in play/conducting, she was invited to the Paris Play-Direct Academy and directed Mozart’s Piano Concerto KV 488 with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris.
