Wouter Versavel is a young and promising Belgian choral and orchestral conductor, celebrated for his outstanding technical mastery and inspiring style. He began his musical career as a classical saxophonist, winning numerous prestigious awards as a soloist and performing with leading ensembles and orchestras. In addition, he plays piano and organ.

In recent years, he has devoted himself entirely to conducting, driven by the conviction that music can bring people together. He is distinguished by a profound love for the repertoire and the ability to blend musical storytelling seamlessly with technical perfection.

Since January 2023, Wouter Versavel has been the conductor of the Brussels Young Philharmonic. He is also the founder and conductor of the Koinonia Orchestra of Europe, an ensemble of internationally renowned young soloists, and he conducts both the Helicante Chamber Choir and Omnia Cantica.
