What does a story sound like without words? Some scores paint entire scenes and worlds purely through sound. Brussels Young Philharmonic takes you on a journey packed with contrast, atmosphere, and imagination.

-----

Forget the conventional concert setup: the orchestra weaves the repertoire into one continuous flow, where classical tradition meets contemporary energy. These young musicians shift effortlessly from the raw drive of Wim Henderickx’s Skriet to Saint-Saëns’ sparkling virtuosity and macabre wit, culminating in the vivid musical scenes of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.

From fragile, whisper-quiet moments to the full, thrilling force of a symphony orchestra: come listen, and let the music tell the story.
