As is traditional, we open the New Year with the whirling classics.

With, of course, some dazzling classics by the 'kings of the waltz', Johann Strauss jr. and sr., as well as delightful compositions by Tchaikovsky, Gounod and Dvorák. Star of the day is trumpet player Lucienne Renaudin Vary. She treats us to a virtuoso programme that sweeps us into a festive mood with lively rhythms and melodies.

There is no more sparkling start to the year than a musical one. Cheers!
