Mozart’s sparkling overture to Die Zauberflöte opens the programme with a burst of light — bright, playful, and full of colour. What follows is Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with Andrea Cicalese, Hayoung Choi (winner of the 2022 Queen Elisabeth Competition), and Filippo Gorini — three compelling musical voices challenging one another, entering into dialogue, and bringing new life to this beloved work.
And then Schubert’s Fifth Symphony: a radiant finale that glows warmly and lingers long after the last note fades.
