Emile Souvagie (1999) is principal clarinet of the Brussels Philharmonic. He previously held the same position with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and gained experience as an academy member with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Souvagie studied in Brussels, Stockholm, and Cologne, has performed as a soloist with orchestras at home and abroad, and is a passionate chamber musician. With the Firgun Ensemble, which he co-founded, he also won the Storioni and Supernova competitions. In 2022, Belgian classical radio station Klara named him one of 'De Twintigers'.
