Korneel Bernolet

Korneel Bernolet (b. 1989) is active worldwide within the world of historical performance practice as a conductor, harpsichordist and teacher. He is known and respected for his fresh, no-nonsense approach and direct view and vision of music performance and style.


He conducts his own Apotheosis Orchestra in a repertoire ranging from early Baroque to high Romanticism and performs regumarly as a guest conductor. In addition to a worldwide solo career, he is principal study teacher in harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp, where he teaches on the famous Dulcken 1747 harpsichord in Museum Vleeshuis and coordinates the working group on historical performance practice.
