Bassist Thomas Fiorini is a versatile musician who is at home in a variety of styles. In addition to playing in the bass section of the Brussels Philharmonic, he is an active performer who regularly crosses musical boundaries.

His recent performances include various international Classical and Jazz musicians such as Terrance Blanchard, Jef Neve, Sam Vloemans, Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort and contemporary music ensemble Musique Nouvelles.

Thomas also maintains a busy recording schedule and can be heard on many film and television soundtracks including works by Oscar winning composers Howard Shore and Ludovic Bource.

Equally at home on the bass guitar, he has performed with acts such as Rob Thomas, Gap Mangione, Bjork and top Belgian singers like Sarah Bettens, Natalia, Mamas Jasje and Dana Winner.

Thomas is an alumnus of The Berklee College of Music and has received his Bachelor’s Degree from Mannes College of Music and Master’s Degree from The Lemmensinstituut.

A native New Yorker, Thomas now calls Antwerp, Belgium his home.
