I don’t play an instrument and I can’t read sheet music – but music moves and inspires me every single day.
Lately, the music of Tyler, The Creator has cracked open a door to a whole new universe. His eccentric mix of hip-hop, soul, jazz, and pure chaos swept me into territory I had barely touched before. Now I’m hooked!
Four tracks, four differents worlds, and each of them hits something essential.
Tyler, The Creator’s Rah Tah Tah is raw, bold, and irresistibly playful. A sledgehammer of creativity.
Sam Fender’s Little Bit Closer strikes that sensitive nerve with his trademark mix of melancholy and power.
It’s Amazing To Be Young by Fontaines D.C. bursts with youthful urgency and energy. It throws you right back to the moment when anything felt possible.
And Never Get Enough by Das Pop: nostalgic, danceable, and just dramatic enough. Quirky pop, exactly how it should be.
Together, they form a soundtrack that refuses to stick to one genre — and yet, somehow, fits my mind like a glove.
Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan: glitter, drama, and a chorus that hijacks your brain. It’s over-the-top, unapologetically poppy and irresistibly catchy... exactly why I love it.
Guilty? Not at all. Loud, proud and on repeat!
This summer, I’m heading to the Dordogne for a relaxing holiday. It's the perfect place to enjoy delicious food, stunning nature, and finally dive into that stack of books I’ve been hoarding.
Also on the agenda is a day at Lokerse Feesten with Air, dEUS, and Sylvie Kreusch. And if luck’s on my side, I’ll score a last-minute ticket on Ticketswap for Pukkelpop, to catch the amazing Chappell Roan live.
